WEDDING DETAILS

Thank you for supporting the Stewart/Lyons wedding. We are excited to see everyone soon. Regretfully, we will have limited time prior to the wedding. As you can expect there are many details to attend to which will encompass most of our time. For those who are staying through Sunday we would love to get together and do something fun. There are many sights to see if you arrive early.

Park City is a favorite destination for most people-Historic Main Street has small shops and dining and is the location of the annual Sundance Film Festival that Robert Redford hosts. Other activities are nearby like biking, golf, hiking, gondola rides, outlet stores and more... visit their website at http://www.parkcityinfo.com/

Sundance Resort is only a short drive and very beautiful. They have hiking and various activities-it is located about 20 minutes from town. You can visit them by clicking on their picture on this blog.

Thanksgiving Point is nearby.-It has shopping, gardens and museums. Their website is http://www.thanksgivingpoint.com/ Heber Utah is located about a half hour up the Provo Canyon. There will be a sheep dog festival going on that weekend. Arches National Park is located about 3.5 hours south of Utah Valley. The terrain is awesome. www.nps.gov/arch If you go be sure and visit deadmans point !

Lodging is available at various locations throughout Utah Valley. We recommend the Marriott Spring Hill Suites which is located next to I-15 and adjacent is a new Hampton Inn. (Joes brother John has reserved some rooms at the Hampton Inn).

The Wedding ceremony will be at 3:30 pm located in alpine about a 15 minute drive from the freeway-Please arrive by 3:15 to be seated before 3:30. Drinks will be provided at the ceremony. Following the ceremony we will drive to the reception center at Sleepy Ridge Golf Club-(click on venue for map). At Sleepy Ridge we'll be serving dinner and hopefully relaxing and enjoying ourselves.

Well many of you may not know how Jonathan and I met. Jonathan's mother Wendy works with me at the police department in Pleasant Grove. Wendy and I are very close friends and she would often talk of her son Moose and what a gentlemen he is. It wasn't to long after when I was finally able to meet him. Jonathan and his brother TJ and sister Victoria came in to bring their mother a birthday gift. I was then introduced to all of them. It may sound stereotypical but Jonathan and I had instant chemistry! We were both shy, especially Jonathan. And he is not the shy type. His family always refers to Jonathan as the mayor of Spanish Fork! He always acts like hes running for mayor the way he socializes. After our first meet he came in frequently and bought us dinner and we would talk a little more each time.

Then out of the blue one day he calls me up and asks me if I could be his date at a Christmas party at his work. I of course said yes! Soon we were inseparable and have been since then!
